The Shimokenji Gaku Shinto Ritual is a spring festival which has been handed down at Ono Hachiman Shrine for several hundred years.
Children carry out an ancient Japanese performance and dance called “gaku uchi” to pray for a good harvest and good health!
The ritual is held on May 3rd and 4th every year.

From JR Yukuhashi Station take the Taiyo-koutsu “Kawara Line” bus for 16 minutes and get off at the “Yoshiguni” stop, then walk 18 minutes
